Welcome to Sarasota Tooth Talk.
During my 39 years of practicing Dentistry, 18 of which as a Sarasota Dentist, I came to realize that my main job was not to fix, patch and repair, but to educate and facilitate health.
I spend much time trying to put myself out of business. If only people would comprehend that most oral disease is the result of neglect and lack of proper professional oversight.
A healthy mouth is cheap to maintain. It's the repairs that are costly! We just clean up after people.
It's not hard to create and maintain a healthy, comfortable and functional mouth, it just takes some time and commitment. And not very much of either.
So stayed tuned and come along for the ride as I give you some insights into dentistry and those who provide it.
